At Period Magazine, we are always interested in what is next, who is emerging, and where new energy in fashion is coming from. With New Faces, we are creating a space dedicated to discovering and highlighting unrepresented models in China . Fresh talent with presence, personality, and potential.
This section will introduce a new face through a simple editorial feature: a short profile, a few quick facts, and a brief interview that offers a first glimpse into who they are beyond the images. As a magazine based in Asia, this feature will place a special focus on Asian talent and the growing wave of new models developing across Asia.
For our first feature, we are introducing Li Wenhao (李文昊) a striking new face with a calm presence, clean lines, and a natural ease in front of the camera. Unrepresented and just beginning his journey, Wenhao has the kind of understated confidence that immediately translates on camera.

A Small Interview
Q: How did you first become interested in modeling?
Li Wenhao: I had never seriously thought about it before, but after a few test shoots I became more interested. I liked the creative side of it and the way a photograph can completely change the mood or feeling of a moment.
Q: How would you describe your personal style?
Li Wenhao: Simple and relaxed. I usually wear basics, denim, tank tops, or fitted T-shirts. I like clean pieces that feel effortless.
Q: What kind of modeling would you like to do most?
Li Wenhao: I would love to do editorial work, campaigns, and fashion stories. I also want to explore more expressive shoots and learn how to move better in front of the camera.
Q: What do you think makes a strong image?
Li Wenhao: For me, it is when the photo feels natural but still powerful. I think expression and posture matter a lot, even in a very simple image.
Q: What is one thing you hope people notice about you in these photos?
Li Wenhao: I hope they notice the feeling. I want the images to feel clean, confident, and memorable.
New Faces is our way of keeping an eye on the future — one model at a time.
